Natalie Martin- Girls Basketball

Natalie says that her basketball season  was great. She played on the freshman team as number 50 and then on the sophomore team as number 32. Every since she was in the 5th grade she has been playing basketball. Natalie says her least favorite thing to do in practice was to do suicides. She managed to keep her grades up by doing her homework as soon as she got home. Natalie plans to play basketball all the way through high school.

 

Trevon Williams- Boys Basketball

Trevon says that his basketball season was decent. “You win some, you lose some.” Trevon started playing basketball in the 4th grade. He says that he averaged about 12 points per game (Over 100 points this season). Trevor’s Jersey number was 24. He says the least favorite thing to do in practice was run. Trevon kept his grades up with the help of his wonderful cheerleader girlfriend Elizabeth Cardio. Trevon has plans on playing basketball all through high school.

 

Sakaiya Johnson- Girls Basketball

Sakaiya says that her basketball season was pretty good. “We didn’t really win a lot of games but we had fun.” Sakaiya has been playing basketball since the 2nd grade. She had multiple jersey numbers this year number: 3,21,4,20. Like all the others Sakaiya hated to run in practice. She earns about 6 points a game. She plans to play basketball all throughout high school. She juggled homework and playing basketball by doing her work in class, but if she didn’t have enough time she would go to tutoring.

 

Tai’Sani Haire- Boys Basketball

Tai’Sani says his experience with this season was good. He’s been  playing basketball since he was in the 4th grade. His jersey number was 24. One thing he disliked to do in practice was to do the same drills over and over again. Tai’Sani says he probably made a total of 13 points per game. He plans to play basketball all throughout his high school career.  He  managed to keep his grades up all season because his mother told him “no good grades, no basketball.”

 

Q’nique Hubbard- Girls Basketball

Q’nique is a Lady J-Hawk who has been in love with basketball since 3rd grade. She would make an average of about 8 points per game. She wore the number 42 on her back and she was proud of. Her least favorite thing to do in practice was run. Q’nique plans to play basketball throughout high school and keep her grades up.

 

Horace Massey-Boys Basketball

Horace lives to play basketball. He played basketball for Jefferson High School as number 32. He would make an average of about 6 points per game. His least favorite thing to do during practice was run. He kept his grades up by going to tutoring after school. Horace plans to play all throughout high school.
